YOU & MEUSELESS

Frequently Asked Questions

Plain answers about a deliberately pointless product.

Is this real?
It's a real website and a real (very silly) purchase — but the club is a parody. Your membership, ID card and certificates are novelty items with no real-world value, status or legal meaning.
What do I get for $4.99?
A unique, sequential member number, a downloadable Useless ID card, official certificates with a public verification code, a profile and spot on the Wall (only if you opt in), badges, games and the members-only feed.
Is it a subscription?
No. It's a one-time payment of $4.99 (plus any tax shown before you pay). We will never charge you again unless you buy a gift for someone.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — see our refund policy. If you’re refunded, your membership is deactivated.
Can I hide my profile?
Your profile is private by default. You choose whether to appear on the Wall, the leaderboard and a public profile page, and you can change it anytime in Settings.
Are there apps?
Android and iOS apps are coming soon. Your account and membership will work in them too.
How do payments work?
You pay on a secure page hosted by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store card details. Any applicable tax is shown before you confirm.
When do I get my member number?
The moment our server receives verified confirmation of your payment. Numbers are sequential, so we can't promise #69 or #420.
Can I change my username or name?
Yes, anytime in Settings. Your member number stays the same forever.
Can I gift a membership?
Yes — on the Gift page. Each gift is a single-use code valid for 365 days.
Is the certificate real?
It's a real novelty certificate with a code anyone can verify on our site. It is not a qualification, licence or official document of any kind.
How do I delete my account or get my data?
In Settings you can download all your data and request deletion. Your profile disappears immediately.
Someone is being rude / impersonating me.
